google-drive-everywhereWe have heard of some improvements made to Google Drive not too long ago, where Gmail for Web has been updated to deliver better Google Drive attachment support, and the OK Google command too, will be making its way to the Google Drive app. While we do know that Google Drive would allow one to safely store, access, and share all of your files, there are a couple of updates for Android and iOS versions that would allow you to do just that:

If you happen to be rocking onto the Android platform, you will be able to perform searches for files in Drive from the Google app. For instance, if you could mention “OK, Google search for holiday letter on Drive”, and you will be able to reach your files without having to even open up the app and typing out the keywords.

Where one is on the iPhone and iPad, you are able to introduce additional stuff to Drive by uploading content from other iOS apps. Regardless, if you are on Android or iOS, you are able to access and share custom maps that you have created with Google My Maps. Expect the Android update to roll out over the next week, while the iOS app is already ready on the App Store.
