creadaptIs there such a thing as an unstoppable robot? I suppose in the realm of science fiction, then the T-1000, that is made up of liquid metal, would certainly be top dog – except in the case of the movie, where an outdated T-800 would be able to change things. Here is a unique robot that is known as the Creadapt, which is definitely a breakthrough in the world of robotics, as it moves around on half a dozen adaptable wheels.

When it is on flat ground, the Creadapt robot will be able to make use of its wheels. Of course, upon the time when it meets up various other surfaces, including the likes of dirt, grass, rocks or rubble, then it can alter its gait to function in the most efficient manner. Unfortunately, it has yet to be able to figure out which is the most efficient way of getting around on a particular surface.

The Creadapt project intends to teach robots to be able to do what animals would do, including innovate, optimize, evolve, and adapt. To be able to figure out the next best course of action might lead to a new revolution in the world of artificial intelligence, this is for sure!
