resident-evil-revelations-2-release

In September last year Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be released in early 2015. The official announcement came after an image depicting the Xbox 360 cover was leaked online. Capcom did confirm the game but took a few months to give a concrete release date. The game’s first episode was due to be released on February 18th but Capcom today announced that the Resident Evil: Revelations 2 release has been delayed, albeit slightly.

Gamers are not alien to upcoming titles being delayed. Developers tend to take the extra time to fine tune the game further. We saw this with some very popular titles last year as well, its common, even if it can draw criticism from people who don’t really deal well with delays.

Capcom confirmed today that the Resident Evil: Revelations 2 release has been delayed. The first episode will now be released one week later than originally scheduled, 24th February to be precise, with the second, third and fourth episodes being released on 3rd March, 10th March and 17th March respectively for PlayStation Store North America.

Xbox Live Global, Steam Global and PS Store EMEA territories will get the game precisely one day after the aforementioned dates.

It is possible to pre-order the complete season for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 right now. Episodes can be purchased a la carte for $5.99 per episode, the complete season costs $24.99 and the retail disc comes in at $39.99.
