dinostyLast year Google hid an easter egg inside their Chrome browser which basically allowed gamers to play an endless runner game in the event they lose internet access. It is a fun game that lets you kill some time while your internet tries to reconnect, but if you were hoping for something more, like a high score that actually saves, you’re in luck.

It seems that one developer has taken it upon themselves to create the game as an Android app and release it onto the Google Play Store. Dubbed Dinosty, it basically incorporates the same graphics and concept of Google’s easter egg and turns it into a full-fledged endless runner. High scores can also be saved and shared on a leaderboard.

Other than that there’s really nothing else to the game. It is a free download although we should note that the developers have relied on ads to generate revenue, so if you’d rather not have ads in your games, then maybe you’ll want to stick with Google’s version or maybe look for a different endless runner for your entertainment needs.

However if you are charmed by the 8-bit graphics and see the need to boast about your high scores to your friends, then be sure to hop on over to the Google Play Store for the free download!
