HTC made a pretty good impression last year when they released the Nexus 9 Android tablet. This was a big deal for the company as it was pretty much their first tablet effort in the past few years ever since the HTC Flyer which was released back in 2011. Now that HTC has the Nexus 9 in the market, what are their future plans?
As it turns out, HTC could be preparing another tablet. This is according to a recent tweet by @upleaks who claims that HTC could be releasing their own branded tablet in the future. The tablet’s dimensions are said to be similar to the Nexus 9, but could be different in terms of its hardware specifications.
Unfortunately if you were hoping that this HTC-branded tablet could be unveiled at MWC 2015 where HTC is expected to unveiled the HTC One M9 and their rumored fitness band, you would be disappointed. @upleaks claims that the tablet will not be launched in Q1 2015 meaning that if we were to see it, it would be Q2 or even later.
Like we said the specs still remain unknown but if the rumors are true, it could still be a while until we hear more about it officially. In the meantime are you excited at the idea of seeing a HTC-branded tablet? And what kind of specs are you hoping it will pack under its hood?
