iwatch-leakThere was a report that was published earlier this morning that carried information concerning the companion app for the Apple Watch that was discovered within the recently released iOS 8.2 beta. Basically, some time down the road, if you happen to own one of the smart timepieces from Apple, you can use the app in order to customize the content which appears on the Apple Watch screen – and that will range from music to photos that are stashed on the smartwatch itself. Not only that, one can also reply text messages there and then on the app itself, where you can then send it out in double quick time.

The beta build of iOS 8.2 shows a quartet of menus for the Apple Watch’s companion app, and they are contacts, health-related applications, messages, and calendar. There is also a fifth category as well. A dozen contacts can be seen on the Friends page, where these names will make an appearance on the Apple Watch when one presses the side button. This would enable users to place calls, send messages, or take advantage of the Digital Touch in order to send sketches, taps and heartbeats to contacts as long as they are sporting an Apple Watch on their wrists. With iOS 8.2 rumored for a March release, surely exciting times are ahead – including the possibility of controlling some of your Tesla via the Apple Watch.
