s6 zaubaThe Samsung Galaxy S5 came with a 5.1-inch display and with the Galaxy S6, many are assuming that Samsung would at least match its display size, which they did if the rumors are right, or increase it. However to dream its display size would be an odd move, but interestingly enough a sighting on Zauba (via TheDroidGuy) seems to suggest just that.

Zauba is an import database from India and it typically lists handsets that have been sent to the country for testing. We have seen many devices go by Zauba in the past couple of years, and recent Samsung handsets bearing the model numbers SM-G920V and SM-G920F have made their appearances, and based on their listing it mentions that its screen size is “5”, which you can see in the screenshot above.

This seems to suggest that the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be of the 5-inch variety. Now the listing does not actually mention the Galaxy S6 itself, but given that the SM-G900 was the Galaxy S5, it does stand to reason that the G920 could be the next-gen Samsung phone, but this is just speculation for now.

However like we said earlier, taking a step back in display size does seem odd. It is possible that this could be a variant of the Galaxy S6, but either way we’ll just have to wait until MWC 2015 to find out more. In the meantime would you be bummed if the phone came with a 5-inch display?
