By now anyone’s who’s played any of the titles of the Mortal Kombat franchise should be more than familiar with the theme song to the game. The techno-driven song has become a classic amongst gamers across all genres and is readily identifiable as the theme song for Mortal Kombat. Heck, it’s probably even been played in clubs a couple of times at least!

That being said, YouTubers The Warp Zone have put together an a capella version of the song in which they each covered different parts of the song. Now this probably isn’t the first time an a capella version of the Mortal Kombat theme song has been covered, but given the recent release and hype over Mortal Kombat X, we reckon it’s a pretty relevant video.

The folks The Warp Zone have also covered other songs, such as the theme song to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the Powerpuff Girls, and even the X-Men cartoon which many will also remember to be something of a classic. The video is a little under two minutes long so if you have some time to spare, then perhaps this is a video you’ll want to check out.

In the meantime it has been hinted that Mortal Kombat X could get a DLC in the future where some of the classic fatalities from previous titles could be making a return.
