In the latest move, U.S. Cellular has initiated the roll out of Android 5.1 Lollipop to the Moto X 2014 and Moto E LTE.

If you’re using any of the aforementioned devices then it is time when you should check your phone for the update by tapping on the “system update” option. The carrier has already started the roll out so in no time your device might start receiving it.

In accordance with U.S. Cellular’s software update page, the Moto X 2014 will have the version number LPE23.32-21 and the Moto E LTE will have the version LPI23.29-15. As we have already explained to our readers many posts related to the 5.1 Lollipop update, it carries few important tweaks that will boost the system performance.

If your device has not got the update yet, then we recommend to check it manually by going to the settings > about > system updates. In case you have already installed it then, let us know if you’re liking it or not.
