These days carriers are offering more data than most users can use, and more often than not, many find themselves with a lot of leftover data at the end of the month in which some feel might be unfair since they don’t get reimbursed or have the data rollover to the following month (this depends on your carrier).
It has been a couple of months since carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ started receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update in the United States. All four major carriers have released the update already but users on a smaller carrier, U.S. Cellular to be precise, have yet to make the jump. The carrier has still not released the Oreo update for these handsets.

If you are, you might have heard that earlier this month, LG confirmed that the LG G5 will be making its way to the US next month, but unfortunately no specific dates were mentioned, although it has also been confirmed that the handset will be available via the major carriers.
When it comes to trading in your hardware with a mobile carrier, there are some terms and conditions in the fine print that you should be aware of. Not many people would be willing to go ahead and give you a new device in exchange for some cash and a broken handset, but it looks like U.S. Cellular has other ideas. In fact, they are more than willing to part […]
