In just a couple of days from now Rocksteady’s much awaited final title in the Batman trilogy, Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be released for multiple platforms across the world. Fans are no doubt excited for this title and have been anxiously waiting for it to arrive, however those who pre-ordered the Batman: Arkham Knight limited edition may have to wait for a few days because that particular edition has been delayed.

Fortunately the limited edition has only been delayed, recently the Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition was cancelled for good due to poor quality of the transformable figurine that was the entire basis for the Batmobile Edition.

The limited edition also appears to have been delayed due to quality issues, those who pre-ordered the title through Amazon have been told that their order has been delayed “as the manufacturer has advised us that there’s been a packaging quality issue.”

The automated reply states that customers should expect Batman: Arkham Knight limited edition to reach them in pristine condition with updated packaging “no later than 14 July, 2015.”

Amazon is going to provide these customers with download codes so that they can still download the title digitally once it’s released on June 23rd so that they don’t miss out on playing Batman: Arkham Knight until the limited edition’s packaging issues are settled and the units are shipped out.
