batman arkham knightBatman: Arkham Knight made its way back onto the PC late last month, however it was discovered that even though most of the major issues that were affecting the game had been fixed, there were still issues remaining. While we suppose technically not an issue, Warner Bros. stated that they were working to include SLI and Crossfire support.

According to the publisher last month, “We are still working with our GPU partners to add full support for SLI and Crossfire.” Unfortunately for gamers who would love to be able to enjoy the game on an SLI or Crossfire setup, it looks like you guys will be disappointed because it seems that support for those features will not be coming.

A post on Steam by a team member of the game reiterated that they were working over the past few months to develop multi-GPU support for the game, but apparently the results and gains weren’t just worth it. “The result was that even the best case estimates for performance improvements turned out to be relatively small given the high risk of creating new issues for all players. As a result we’ve had to make the difficult decision to stop work on further multi-GPU support.”

This means until they change their mind, gamers should probably not hold their breath for SLI or Crossfire support. The good news is that if the game is still way more trouble than it’s worth and you don’t wish to be disappointed anymore, you have until the end of the year to ask for a refund.
