ue-roll-960-2If you’re looking for speakers that you can take with you on holiday to the pool, the beach, or even into the shower, then you might be interested in Logitech’s latest speakers in the form of the UE Roll. As you can see in the image above, the UE Roll is definitely not shaped like your typical pair of speakers.

It is flat-ish, round, almost like a flying saucer, but thanks to its IPX7 certification, you should have no problems getting it wet. While we wouldn’t suggest you submerge it underwater, you won’t have to worry about it getting wet while at the pool or in the shower, if music in the bathroom is your sort of thing.

Interestingly enough Logitech will also be bundling a floatation accessory for the UE Roll if you were to order it from their website, so that might be worth checking out. Now the + and – symbols on the speakers aren’t there just for design, they are functional volume controls as well so adjusting the volume should be easy and pretty obvious.

Logitech is also promising that the speakers will have a 9 hour battery life which is slightly shorter than that of the Logitech UE Mini Boom which boasts 10 hours, although in exchange Logitech has increased its range to 65 feet. If the UE Roll sounds like a pair of speakers you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on, hit up their website where you can order one for $100.
