ZTE has been teasing this device since summer, and now the company has released it officially in the United States. We are talking about the ZTE Axon, which is now up for pre-orders, for $449.98.

The smartphone has been crafted in a full metal body, which gives it a premium look. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of non-expandable internal storage. The device features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s QuickCharge technology support.

The ZTE Axon sports two rear cameras with dual LED flash, one 13-megapixel and the other 2-megapixel. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera on-board. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and ZTE seems pretty excited about the Axon’s audio features, the company touts that the device comes with two dedicated audio chipsets with Hi-Fi AudioPlayback and Recording.

It will be available in three different color variants — Ion Gold, Chromium Silver, and Phthalo Blue. As per the company, the shipments for Axon will begin on July 27. This device will cost users $449.98 USD without contact from ZTE’s USA website or from Amazon, Newegg, and ZTE’s online store on eBay.
