A few months back Sprint launched a new service called Direct 2 You, the carrier will send a wireless sales representative to customers in supported metro areas who will provide sales and setup guidance at the customer’s doorstep either at home or at the office, or even in the park. Today Sprint has announced that the service is being expanded to more metro areas in the country.
Direct 2 You was only available in a handful of cities when it was first launched in April this year but since then Sprint has been gradually rolling it out for other metro areas as well, it was only earlier this month that the service was expanded to Boston, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
Today’s addition to the list brings up the total number of supported markets to 20, with metro areas in Orlando, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Phoenix, San Antonio and Seattle joining the list today.
In a bid to get more people to use this service Sprint today announced that it’s going to run two special promotions through the end of this year, each customer who completes a Direct 2 You appointment will receive a special gift which will range from Motorola Buds Stereo Bluetooth headphones and a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio speaker to a Caribbean Cruise or a trip to the Big Game in February. Gifts will be distributed randomly to customers.
