Several years ago Ubisoft announced ZombiU, a game designed for the Nintendo Wii U which took advantage of some of the features of the console, like its GamePad. However due to the Wii U not selling enough units at that time, the folks at Ubisoft basically declared that there will no longer be additional content for the game.

Fast forward to today, Ubisoft has released Zombi which is basically ZombiU designed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC. Now for the most part, both games will be more or less the same in terms of storyline. Gameplay might be a little different due to the lack of a GamePad from the Wii U, but like we said for the most part it shouldn’t be too different.

There is also the question of graphics quality given that the hardware in the Wii U is different from the consoles of today, and thanks to the folks at Eurogamer they have created a side-by-side comparison to give us a better idea of what to expect. It should be noted that only the PS4 was used in the video, so for Xbox One gamers there might be some slight variances.

That being said, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that the newer Zombi looks better compared to the original. Most telling is probably the new field of view which is actually wider and gives gamers more of the environment to take in at once. If you have a few minutes to spare, you can check it out in the video above.
