htconea9leakfrontIf the rumors are to be believed, HTC has a phone called the HTC One A9 in the works that could be announced on the 29th of September. While we are waiting to see if those rumors will come true, a recent post by Nowhereelse.fr has revealed the handset’s alleged front panel, giving us a glimpse at what the device could look like.

Now from what we can tell, the device certainly does not share the same look as HTC’s previous devices. It seems that BoomSound speakers are not a part of this phone’s design, and from what we can tell despite the blurry image, there is a small rectangular section below the HTC logo which we can only imagine is for the fingerprint sensor.

Other than that it’s hard to tell what the rest of the phone looks like. However there is a small antenna break at the bottom left corner of the photo, suggesting that this handset is indeed similar to what we have seen in previous leaks, but since none of this is official do take it with a grain of salt for now.

Just as a quick recap of the handset’s specs for those who missed the news, the HTC One A9 is rumored to feature a 5-inch Full HD AMOLEd display. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset can be found along with 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 4MP front-facing camera, 16GB of storage, and a 2,150mAh battery.
