LG Gram laptopWhen it comes to laptops, you might think of brands like Dell, Acer, Lenovo, ASUS, Samsung, Alienware, Apple, and etc. However it’s not often that one might associate laptops with LG, although the South Korean manufacturer does make them but for the most part, they tend to be available in overseas markets like its home country.

That being said if you’re curious as to how LG fares as a laptop manufacturer, you will be able to find out soon enough. The company has recently announced that they will be bringing its LG Gram series of laptops stateside in a show of confidence that they have what it takes to compete with some of the world’s largest OEMs.

So what can we expect in terms of specs? There will be several screen sizes to choose from, but for the most part one of the reasons the laptops have been called Gram is due to their weight, which is supposedly under one kilogram. There will be 13- and 14-inch options available, with Intel Core i5 processors and Full HD processors.

Its pricing will also vary ranging from $800+ for the 13-inch model, and $999 for the 14-inch model, although that price can go up to $1,399 if you were to opt for the more powerful Core i7 and 256GB SSD configuration. If these sound like laptops you might be interested in, both Microsoft and Amazon will be carrying them in their stores.
