Apple has announced the Apple Home Collection, a new line of smart home accessories developed in partnership with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. Designed for seamless integration into the Apple Home app, the lineup includes advanced security cameras, smart locks, thermostats, and temperature sensors.
Managed directly through the Home app with one-tap iPhone configuration and Siri voice control, the devices feature end-to-end encryption to protect user privacy without requiring third-party apps or accounts. The collection introduces four LG cameras offering 2.5K resolution, AI-powered recognition for people, pets, and vehicles, and 10-day iCloud Plus video history.

The lineup features the LG Video Doorbell at $249.95 with dual cameras, the LG Floodlight Cam at $399.95 with motion-activated lighting, and the LG Outdoor Cam Plug-In at $299.95. For indoor monitoring, the LG Indoor Cam Plug-In costs $199.95 and features an automatic privacy shield that tilts the lens down when residents return home.

Security is further enhanced by the LG Smart Deadbolt Lock priced at $349.95, which utilizes Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to automatically unlock when an authorized iPhone or Apple Watch approaches.
