zte-zmax2All good things must come to an end, but on the other hand, all good things should have a sense of continuity, a sequel, so to speak, and you can be pretty sure that this is exactly what AT&T has in mind with the ZTE Zmax 2. Taking off from where the ZTE Zmax left off last year, which was offered to the masses via T-Mobile (which was discontinued due to crazy user antics), ZTE has decided to lift the curtains from the Zmax 2. However, it will not be T-Mobile that will be offering this particular device this time around, but rather, it would be AT&T that will play the role as their partner over in the US.

The ZTE Zmax 2 is said to be a mid-range phablet which will not burn a hole in your pocket, and this is always good news for consumers. In fact, you will be able to grab hold of one of these puppies from AT&T, through online channels and in select stores beginning from September 25th, which would be just a few days away. The asking price? $149.99 a pop without a contract.

That kind of money will earn you a 5.5” 720p touchscreen display, an 8MP shooter at the back with LED flash, a 2MP selfie camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4G LTE support, Dolby Digital Plus Audio, and a 3,000 mAh removable battery, all with Android 5.1 Lollipop in tow.
