Samsung-Galaxy-View-01The Samsung Galaxy View is an upcoming tablet by the South Korean tech giant. What makes the tablet particularly interesting is that a couple of years ago, there was a rush to create small and portable tablets with displays ranging from 7-8 inches, but fast forward to today and we’re looking at much bigger displays.

This is why the Galaxy View is so interesting because it is a tablet that is said to feature a whopping 18.4-inch display. Now thanks to newly leaked photos and details, it’s starting to become clearer as to what angle Samsung will be approaching in how they will market the device, which from what we can tell from the photos will most likely be marketed as a more portable TV.

As you can see in the photos, a lot of emphasis seems to be placed on watching videos. There is also an image which suggests that the tablet is a happy middle between a regular tablet of the 9-10 inch variety and a TV, but we suppose at the end of the day it’s really up to users how they want to make use of it.

As far as the leaked details of the tablet is concerned, word has it that it will be launched and sold in the US for $599, making it a relatively affordable device especially when you consider tablets from Apple and Microsoft costing much more. In any case with the tablet being spotted at the FCC, it shouldn’t be too long before the official details are revealed.
