ZTE may not be a household name in the United States but it does happen to be the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the country and claims to be the second largest in the no-contract market. Today the company introduced a lease-to-own payment plan for customers in the United States, this will enable customers to pick up a new ZTE mobile device and spread out the payment over several months so that it’s much easier for them to pay what they owe on the device.

The lease-to-own payment plan will only be available for unlocked devices which include the recently launched Axon Pro as well as previously launched devices like the ZTE Spro 2 Smart Projector. ZTE is providing this payment plan through SmartPay leasing, it provides leasing options for credit scores of all types and in most cases customers can get immediate approval to lease ZTE devices.

Once approval is received just pick out the ZTE device, make the first payment at checkout and then make the remaining payments as per the monthly schedule. Lease plans can range from 6 to 24 months. When the lease is complete users will own their device, or if they want to, they can pay off the lease early without incurring any penalties or future fees.

Customers can also cancel their lease at any time and upgrade their device if they’re up to date on their monthly payments by returning their current device to SmartPay.  ZTE’s lease-to-own plan will be available online soon through www.zteusa.com.
