warcraft_1Yes, the holidays are nearly upon us and if you’d like to use some of that downtime to perhaps catch up on games that you didn’t get to play, you might be pleased to learn that Blizzard has kicked off their holiday sales. There are several discounts that Blizzard will be giving out, so pick your poison.

Starting with the StarCraft franchise, Blizzard will be slashing the original game along with the first expansion, Heart of the Swarm, by half. This means that you can get your hands on both titles for $9.99 each. Alternatively Blizzard is also selling the entire bundle including Legacy of the Void for $59.99 so if you’d rather not buy it piecemeal that would be another option.

Next up would be Heroes of the Storm. This deal is pretty extensive as Blizzard will be slashing the prices of all heroes, mounts, and skins by 50% in terms of real money (not gold). There will also be a 360-day Stimpack (which grants extra XP) that will be going on sale at a deep discount on Black Friday itself.

Last but not least is World of Warcraft in which Blizzard has slashed the prices of the game massively. The original World of Warcraft title will now set you back $4.99, and the Warlords of Draenor expansion will retail for $12.49. Oddly enough Blizzard has not bothered to discount Diablo 3 or Hearthstone, but maybe that will be added later.
