Sprint-signWith the telco industry being so competitive and with customers being able to choose from different carriers, it is not surprising to see companies trying to slash prices and also create deals and plans that are extra attractive. For example T-Mobile recently introduced Binge On which basically allows users to stream videos without it eating into their data allowance.

That being said, does Sprint have something up their sleeves? It turns out it is very possible because according to a recent tweet by Sprint’s CEO Marcelo Claure, he has teased that the company will be making some kind of announcement tomorrow, the 18th of November, that will most probably upset the other carriers.

According to Claure’s tweet, “The other carriers are not going to like this…guaranteed.” He then points users towards Sprint’s website which has a countdown clock and a button that lets you ask for a hint, although the best hint we’ve gotten so far is, “We’re here to do two things: Save you money and chew bubble gum. And we’re all out of bubble gum.”

Basically it sounds like some kind of plan or new rates that will make the carrier’s offerings more attractive, but either way to find out the details, do check back with us tomorrow at 11AM ET for all the official information.
