fossil_qIt was just last month that the Fossil Q Founder smartwatch went up for sale. However if for whatever reason you can’t find the watch in other retailers, you might be interested to learn that Google has started to sell the smartwatch as well and it can be purchased via the Google Store starting at $275.

However it should be noted that the $275 price is for the version with the leather strap (see above to the right). Unfortunately the leather strap option isn’t available via the Google Store at this time of writing, so you can only choose the metal band which will set you back $20 extra so the final price will be $295, but if you’re not too fussed then go ahead and place your order, or you could always for the leather version to become available.

That being said apart from the difference in straps, both models are pretty much the same under the hood. This means that users can look forward to the Fossil Q Founder being powered by an Intel Atom processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 1.5-inch flat tire LCD screen. It will also be accompanied by a 400mAh battery and its choice of operating system is none other than Google’s Android Wear.
