Attack-Titan-Team-Battle-JAEPO-2016-Debut-TeaseIf you have been following anime/manga, you know that one of the more popular titles in the recent years has been Attack on Titan. In fact there have been a couple of movies made about the series to date, not to mention video games as well. However if you’re looking for a new and exciting way to play the game, Capcom might have something for you.

The company has announced that their arcade game Attack on Titan: Team Battle is expected to debut in the Winter of 2016. The game was originally announced at the Japan Amusement Expo 2015 and it looks like it will finally be making its debut. For those unfamiliar, the game is a four player co-op game which will see players team up to kill titans.

How the game is played is similar to the series, in which gamers will rely on 3D Maneuver Gear to zip around the skies in order to attack and kill titans. There is a single-player mode for those who are interested, but obviously this sounds like a game that would be more fun if there were more players involved.

We’re not sure if the game will debut in arcades outside of Japan, but hopefully it will. In the meantime the game will be demoed at this year’s Japan Amusement Expo which runs from the 19-20th of February, so hopefully we’ll have some gameplay footage to check out then.
