sprint logoIt goes without saying that we live in a very data-centric world these days. Just about any and every mobile device is connected to the Internet, and whenever there is no freely available Wi-Fi network in the vicinity, it is time to fall back on one’s data plan for the device. Good news then for Sprint users, as the service provider will be offering an unlimited LTE data plan for families that will be easier on the pockets in the long run.

This particular plan will not be made available for the long term, but rather, it is a limited time promotion. If you were to sign up with it, a family of four will be able to enjoy unlimited talk, text and high-speed data for a monthly price of $37.50 per line. Whipping out our calculators, that translates to approximately a 16.7% discount from the monthly $45 a line rate, and the overall discounted price would have totalled $150 each month. Over the course of a year, a family of four can end up spending the $360 saved elsewhere.

Apart from unlimited talk, text and data, subscribers to this plan will also be on the receiving end of 3GB of data per month from mobile hotspots, as well as unlimited 2G roaming in select countries. The latter is not too useful unless you are relying on receiving basic emails and communicating through apps like WhatsApp.
