tmo-simplechoiceT-Mobile has certainly done its fair bit in order to change the way in which data is offered to its customers, and they are certainly championing the cause for users to be able to use their smartphones in the way in which they want, although they might just make the move away from unlimited data. In order to continue down that road, T-Mobile has also plans to announce data-only plans for smartphones, at least according to a new report.

As you can see in the image above, 2GB of data will cost you $20, while 6GB of data is going for $35 a pop. Those who opt for 10GB will have to fork out $50, while 14GB is going for $65, with 18GB and 22GB costing $80 and $95, respectively.

These plans are similar to their very own tablet plans, and the program itself will be known as the Simple Choice Data Only. In fact, they will arrive with unlimited texting to boot, although who really makes use of text messages any more these days, taking into consideration the numerous ways in which we communicate with one another when it comes to instant messaging? Perhaps these are plans meant for those who have already ditched their phones, having relied on VoIP solutions to communicate with one another. Are you one of them?
