galaxy-s7-design_03If there was ever a good reason to purchase a handset unlocked, it would be so that you would not be tied down to any particular carrier at least as far as phone repayments are concerned. You also get the freedom of being able to use whichever carrier you want, which will come in handy if you travel a lot.

There is also the added benefit of not having bloatware installed on your phone. The good news is that if you had your eye on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, you will be pleased to learn that Best Buy is now stocking both devices and that they will be selling the phone unlocked. This means no carrier obligations and no bloatware.

For those unfamiliar, bloatware usually comes in the form of apps that carriers preinstall on phones bought through them. While the apps have been designed as tools for customers to use, at the end of the day there are probably many who don’t end up using it, which in turn makes them apps that are taking up space for no good reason.

The Galaxy S7 is priced starting at $710 for the 32GB model, while the Galaxy S7 Edge will retail for $820. If you’d like to get your hands on either device, hit up Best Buy’s website for the details.
