samsung logoAbout a week ago, a certain Samsung Galaxy C handset was spotted on the Geekbench 3 benchmarks. The device had the model number SM-C5000, and now thanks to AnTuTu benchmarks, it looks like the Galaxy C might not be the only “C” model that Samsung is working on.

The recent AnTuTu benchmarks have revealed that Samsung could also be working on a SM-C7000 handset which according to the rumors, is the Samsung Galaxy C7 which would make it part of the C family. From what we can tell, the Galaxy C7 will be slightly more powerful than the Galaxy C.

The benchmarks have revealed that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, while the Galaxy C was found to have a Galaxy 617. However apart from that, it looks like both phones will still pack 4GB of RAM, which is actually a decent amount of RAM considering that both devices appear to be of the mid-range variety.

Other possible specs of the Galaxy C7 include a Full HD display, a 16MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, 32GB of storage, and will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow preinstalled. Unfortunately there is no word on what the handset looks like or when it will be launched, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
