oneplus3-leakWhenever there is a new smartphone that is about to hit the market, you can be sure that based on the predecessor’s popularity, then the number of rumors and leaks surrounding said handset is touted to be in proportion, too. Having said that, the OnePlus 3 that is set to arrive in due time, has seen its fair bit of specifications leaks prior, and apparently you can also pick up this new handset in Virtual Reality (VR). As for the latest leak concerning the device, we are looking at a sample selfie shot via the OnePlus 3’s fron-facing camera.

This particular image was shared by company founder and CEO Liu Zuohu on Weibo, where the single image is quite obvious snapped in dim lighting conditions, so if you were to pan the quality of the front-facing camera, perhaps you might want to take into consideration the situation in which the photo was shot. Some editing of the photo was involved, as it sports a watermark and lacks any kind of EXIF data, so this is not a direct cut-and-paste job.

As for its resolution, it stands at 2,448 x 3,264 pixels, which would amount to 8MP. There has been no front-facing flash spotted in the renders of the handset before, so whatever flash effect that you see here should be fill-flash.
