If there is one advantage that Blizzard’s MOBA Heroes of the Storm has over the competition is the fact that they can draw from their various franchises for character ideas. With so many characters to choose from, it’s really only a question of when we will see them added to the game, and less “if”.

Now in case the current lineup wasn’t enough variety for you, fret not because Blizzard has recently announced that they will be adding two new heroes to the game in the near future. This comes in from of two characters that fans of the Warcraft franchise should know and recognize: Medivh and Chromie.

According to Blizzard, both characters will be mages with ranged attacks. Chromie, given her status in the game, will be able to “bend time”. Medivh on the other hand will be able to transform into his signature raven form and will also be able to create portals to help teammates. Chromie is expected to be added to the game come 17th May, while Medivh will be added on the 14th of June.

In addition, Blizzard has also announced that there are new mounts, skins, and portraits in the works. If you’d like to check out some footage of the new heroes in action as well as what Blizzard is up to, check out the video above.
