The HTC 10 is a real solid handset, that is for sure. After all, this is one particular device that blew away all expectations, although its timing to the market might prove to be a wee bit too late for HTC to return to where they were before. Just how tough is this particular flagship smartphone when it is put through the paces? YouTuber Jerry Rig Everything decided to take up the task, simply abusing a HTC 10 in various heart wrenching ways.

In the YouTube video that you can see above, you would be able to see how the HTC 10 performed rather admirably when it goes through a slew of punishing torture tests. For instance, the screen scratch test estimated the Gorilla Glass covering at level 7 hardness, which is pretty much on par, and the glass is also able to handles flame in an admirable manner, recovering in a few seconds after being subjected to fire.

The front camera is also said to be better protected, since HTC decided on glass as opposed to plastic which is found on its predecessor, the HTC One M9. Being made of metal without the need for paint or plastic additives, this means the HTC 10 is more than able to hold up against scratch marks. The fingerprint sensor might be prone to scratching as it remains functional and responsive for a decent amount of time. Not only that, with a strong metal frame, it is also highly resistant to bending.
