The other day we reported that HTC had seemingly begun rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the HTC 10. However it seems that the update has since been pulled, where the link to download the RUU is no longer available, and users are now claiming that they are not receiving any OTA notifications either.
Last year November, HTC began rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the HTC U11, which if you recall is part of HTC’s promise where they stated that handsets like the HTC U11, HTC U Ultra, and 2016’s HTC 10 will receive the Oreo update. The good news for HTC 10 users is that it looks like the update is finally here.
Just the other day Google officially announced Android 8.0 Oreo and that the update would soon be pushed out to devices like the Pixel and Nexus handsets, which we guess is to be expected for Google phones, but the question is what about other non-Google phones?
