Will Sony unveil a new PlayStation console at E3 2016? While there are plenty of games worth looking forward to, safe to say that many are eager to see if a newer and more powerful version of the PS4 will be unveiled at the event. Now if you didn’t manage to get your tickets, or if you can’t afford to fly to the event, fret not.

Sony has recently announced that they will be bringing back their PlayStation E3 Experience this year. For those unfamiliar, the PlayStation E3 Experience is basically where Sony will live stream the conference in movie theaters. It started back in 2014 and it seems that Sony did not expect it to be so well-received.

To that end they have decided to meet the demands of their fans by hosting it again this year, with the main difference being that it will now include the Latin America market in addition to the US and Canada. The event will be streamed across 85 movie theaters so hopefully there will be one that is near for you.

Now the question is, why would you bother going to a theater when you can watch it at home for free, right? The incentive here is that there will be various goodies and collectibles that you can get if you go to the cinema. Tickets will be free and will be up for grabs come 31st May at 10am PT over here, where it will be available via a first-come-first-serve basis. The full list of cinemas that will be hosting the event can be found on Sony’s website.
