sony_phone_3According to the rumors, Sony has maybe a couple of new Xperia phones in the works, but what they might look like is anyone’s guess. However Sony hasn’t exactly changed their designs in a major way over the past few years, so we guess it’s really not that hard to imagine what they could look like.

Now thanks to the folks at GSMArena, they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be leaked photos of Sony’s upcoming Xperia handset, and like what we imagined, it seems that Sony hasn’t really done much in terms of redesigning the phone, not that it is a bad thing as Sony’s phones have always been pretty sleek, but we suppose a change up every now and then wouldn’t be a bad thing.

That being said, there are some changes to its design that might not be so obvious. For starters the sides appear to be more curved than previous Sony phones. There is also a new camera layout, and it also appears that Sony could be adopting USB-C as the photos do reveal a USB-C port on the bottom of the phone.

Thankfully the headphone jack will remain meaning that users won’t have to panic and start looking for adapters or USB-C headphones. No word on which particular model this belongs to, but GSMArena claims that this is the F8331. With IFA coming up soon, there is a good chance Sony could unveil the phone then.
