google_now_dashboardIf you’re someone who uses Google Now quite frequently, there might be a new feature that could be of interest to you. As spotted by the folks at Android Police, Google appears to be testing out a new feature called Dashboard on Google Now. Unfortunately the feature seems to be pretty limited and doesn’t seem to be working properly yet.

However from what they can tell, it sounds like Dashboard will basically be a one-stop place for users to check a variety of things. It is said that the feature will collect data from various services operated by Google and puts them all into the same place, so users will be able to see things like reminders, events on the calendar, to-do lists, emails, and so on.

However as they point out, this seems to only work with the Nexus launcher that was leaked not too long ago. It is said that this Nexus launcher would be exclusive to Google’s new Nexus handsets and assuming this is true, it does line up with an earlier report that suggests that 2016’s Nexus handsets could have some exclusive software features.

In any case we should find out more in the near future as Google is said to be planning to launch the new Nexus phones on the 4th of October, so do check back with us in the coming months for the details.
