Ever since it was announced that Ghost in the Shell would be made into a live-action movie, safe to say that many were excited by the news, although there have been some who have questioned whether or not the casting of Scarlett Johansson as the lead female character was just Hollywood whitewashing movie roles again.
That’s a debate for another day and for all we know, it could even turn out to be a great movie. That being said, for those curious about what the movie looks like, you’ll be pleased to learn that Paramount Pictures has since release five teaser trailers of the upcoming movie. The teasers don’t last that long but it should give you a glimpse as to what you can expect.
So far we think that the movie looks pretty good. There is a certain dystopian feel about it that seems to be in line with the original material, but then again these are just 10 second clips so it’s really quite hard to gauge the entire movie. The move itself will be seeing a release come 31st of March, 2017, so we still have a bit of waiting to do, but it also means that we should be able to expect a full trailer in the coming weeks/months.
