Now that iOS 10 has been released for all compatible devices, it’s now much easier to hail an Uber. Uber confirmed earlier this year in June that users will be able to hail a ride via Siri and Apple Maps when the next iteration of iOS arrives and now that it’s here, these integrations are now live. You can now call an Uber by simply asking Siri or simply book one right in Apple Maps.

The integration with Apple Maps is quite similar to the one that’s already been available to Google Maps users for quite some time now. It enables users to skip the extra taps by allowing them to call an Uber from within the mapping application.

Users can find the route to their destination in Apple Maps and then go to the Ride tab in order to get an Uber from within the app itself. This eliminates the need to switch between apps and saves valuable time.

Hailing an Uber through Siri couldn’t be any easier. Simply invoke the digital personal assistant and say “Siri, get me an Uber.” It will do the rest. Like I said, it can’t get ay easier than this.

Update your device to iOS 10 and download the latest version of Uber for iOS if you haven’t already to take advantage of these new integrations.
