As you might have heard by now, Blizzard’s latest World of Warcraft expansion Legion is now live. One of the changes Blizzard has made is to do away with the Garrisons from Warlords of Draenor, which apparently was one of the biggest complaints of the expansion since it allowed players to just stay put in one place and reap tons of rewards.

With Legion, Blizzard introduced Class Hall Missions which are meant to be an improvement over Garrisons, and for all you hardcore gamers out there, you might be interested to learn that Blizzard has a way for you to manage your missions even when you aren’t at your computer. The developers have announced an upcoming World of Warcraft: Legion Companion app.

In a way it reminds us of the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app where you can chat with your friends and guildmates, but with this companion app, gamers will be able to manage their Class Hall missions remotely, like making upgrades. Gamers will also be able to recruit new followers, send them on missions, manage their equipment and so on.

The app will also be able to display things like active World Quests once you hit level 110. It’s an interesting idea and if you’d like to learn more, check out the introductory video above for the details. The app is expected to be released on the 7th of September for iOS and Android devices.
