We’re not sure what Apple was thinking when they designed the AirPods. It basically looks like Apple’s regular EarPods headphones with the wires cut out. That being said if you do love your AirPods and would like to see it given a nice black finish that matches your Jet Black iPhone, you might want to check out BlackPods.BlackPods is basically a third-party company that will turn your AirPods black for a price of $99. Alternatively you could buy a pair off them for a whopping $249 which is a lot to ask for, but if you think the design is worth it, then why not? Whether you purchase them through us or send yours in, each pair of AirPods is subjected to a rigorous visual and quality inspection.” BlackPods wouldn’t be the first company to give Apple’s products an unofficial new coat of paint, and we have to admit that while the asking price is steep, it does look pretty good.
