Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix late last year. It’s a smartphone unlike any other available on the market right now. It’s fashioned out of ceramic and features an edge-to-edge display that’s the center of attention. The company initially offered this device in black but at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 earlier this month it confirmed that the white Xiaomi Mi Mix is in the pipeline as well. It appears that Xiaomi will soon release the white Mi Mix.

Xiaomi initially announced the Mi Mix as a concept device to showcase its vision for the future but surprised everyone by launching it for the public just a few weeks later. The consumer response has been great even though this handset is only available in select markets right now.

It features a 6.4 inch edge-to-edge display with a Snapdragon 821 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. It has a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera, fingerprint sensor, 4,400mAh battery, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Xiaomi confirmed at CES 2017 that the white Mi Mix will be exclusive to China, at least at this point in time and that it’s going to cost the same as its black counterpart. Xiaomi’s marketing director Zang Zhiyuan has posted on Weibo that the white Mi Mix is going to be released very soon. It may be out early next month some time after the Chinese New Year.
