According to a recent report, it was revealed that HTC had planned to get out of the entry-level smartphone market. However it seems that maybe the company won’t be making that move just yet, or if they are they still have some devices left that they might want to release before transitioning.

We say that because thanks to a recent leak on Weibo, photos of an alleged HTC budget smartphone has made its way online. According to the leaked information, it seems that the handset in question (see above) is an upcoming budget HTC handset called the HTC One X10 that was designed for emerging markets such as India.

However despite its alleged budget status, the One X10 appears to be rather premium-looking in terms of design. We are talking about a unibody aluminum chassis and a fingerprint sensor, a feature that you don’t typically find on budget devices. This isn’t the first time that the HTC One X10 has been mentioned and last we heard, it was supposed to be announced in January but that clearly did not happen.

That being said MWC 2017 is coming up so we guess ife HTC plans to make an announcement, it would be the perfect time to do so, so check back with us next week for the official details if there are any to be had.
