As we are approaching the end of the year, most companies with announcements to make have made theirs, like Samsung announcing the Galaxy Note 8, and Apple announcing their new iPhones. It also means that we are approaching the new year, which in turn means that we can look forward to CES 2018.

CES itself is pretty exciting as companies usually take this opportunity to unveil brand new products and innovations, but if you’re a fan of Google, 2018’s CES could be particularly exciting because it looks like Google will be having their own booth at the event. This is according to a report from Chrome Unboxed who noticed Google’s booth at the event’s map.

As the publication points out, Google’s presence at CES has typically been an indirect one, where other companies would launch products based around Google’s products or services, like Android phones, Chromebooks, and more. However this year it looks like Google’s presence at CES will be felt as it appears that the company’s booth will be sizeable.

As to what Google could announce, it is unclear at this point in time, but we expect that the company will at the very least have some “Made by Google” products on hand. There have been rumors that the company might have an Amazon Echo Show competitor in the works, but whether or not it will debut at CES or at Google I/O 2018 which is usually held towards the middle part of the year remains to be seen.
