Sony’s lineup of PlayStation VR bundles is steadily increasing. Merely days after launching the Gran Turismo Sport PlayStation VR bundle, Sony today announced the launch of its Doom VFR PSVR bundle. The bundle has been announced as the release date for Doom VFR closes in. It’s going to vault players into an entirely new gameplay experience that’s built for virtual reality.

To be clear, Doom VFR is more of a side story of the full title instead of a VR version of the full game. So don’t purchase this bundle if you want to play the entire game in virtual reality. That’s not possible yet.

Doom VFR will transport players to the UAC facility on Mars and the depths of Hell. Their skills will be put to the test in intense combat. Players will be tasked with restoring operational stability on the UAC’s Martian research facility after the demonic invasion and use any means necessary to stop the demons.

The title can either be played with a DualShock 4 controller, PlayStation Move controllers or the PlayStation VR Aim Controller for those who want an even better experience.

Sony’s PlayStation VR Doom VFR bundle is going to be released in the United States and Canada starting December 1st. It’s going to cost $399.99. The bundle includes a PlayStation VR headset, a PlayStation Camera, the new PS VR demo disc, and a copy of Doom VFR.
