The Mission: Impossible franchise has been around for a couple of decades now and from what we can tell, it doesn’t seem to show any signs of slowing down. If anything it looks like Mission: Impossible movies are starting to ramp up, with the trailer for the upcoming Mission: Impossible 6 (Fallout) having been released.

According to the trailer’s description of the movie, “The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.  Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.”

As the description mentions, several actors from the previous Mission: Impossible movies will be making their return. Notably absent is Jeremy Renner, who according to a report from Showbiz411 in 2017 was too busy filming Marvel’s “Avengers” movies to take part in the latest Mission: Impossible movie.

It will also see the introduction of Henry Cavill’s moustached character, in which there was a big issue when he had to film for the Justice League movie where his moustache had to be digitally removed, although many seem to think that it didn’t do a very good job. That being said, Mission: Impossible 6 (Fallout) is currently set for a release on the 27th of July, 2018.
