If you’ve been meaning to get your hands on Rise of the Tomb Raider but have never really gotten around to it, you might be pleased to learn that the game will be coming to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass next month. This is according to a tweet by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb who teased the game’s availability.

It seems that come March, there will be eight new games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass, and it looks like Tomb Raider has been confirmed to be one of them. According to Hryb, “Next week we’ll post the titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in March. In the meantime, I’ll just leave this right here”.

For those unfamiliar, Xbox Game Pass has been described as the Netflix for video games, where for a monthly subscription, Xbox One gamers will gain access to a catalogue of video games. As is the case with Netflix, games will be added and removed over time (presumably due to licensing agreements with the publisher/developer), but while available and when the gamer’s subscription is active, they will be able to download the game and play it normally.

Interestingly enough the release of the game on Xbox Game Pass coincides with the release of the Tomb Raider movie which is set for the 16th of March, 2018.
