While current wireless charging solutions aren’t the wireless charging systems many of us have imagined, they are admittedly pretty convenient as it doesn’t require users to deal with cables, plugging and unplugging, frayed or missing cables, and so on. If you are in the market for such a charger, Case-Mate has you covered.

The company has recently unveiled their latest charging accessory in the form of the Power Pad. This is a wireless charger for devices that are compatible with it, and at the same time it also offers an optional stand that doubles as a dock/stand, similar to that of Nomad’s recent announcement. It will support Qi-enabled devices, which means that iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X users will be able to use it as well.

It will be capable of offering 7.5W output for the iPhones, and up to 9W for the latest Samsung devices, which should help speed up the overall charging. Given that wireless charging used to be known to be quite slow, this should be welcome news. The Power Pad will also come with a built-in soft LED light indicator that shows that the device has made contact and is charging.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, the Case-Mate Power Pad is available for purchase via the company’s website where it will be priced at $60.
