Microsoft finally started selling the much-awaited Surface Pro with LTE in December last year, however, it only opened up sales for business customers initially. The company has now decided to allow consumers to purchase the Surface Pro with LTE. Starting today, those who want to pick one up can head over to Microsoft’s online store and place a pre-order for this device.

Microsoft is selling two models of the Surface Pro with LTE and both are powered by Intel’s latest Core i5 7300U processor packed in a fanless design. It’s charging $1,149 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and $1,449 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant.

Interested customers can pre-order the Surface Pro with LTE starting today from Microsoft’s online store. However, it seems like only the 8GB RAM variant is available for pre-order at this point in time. It’s likely that the other variants may also become available soon.

The product’s listing page on the online store mentions that Microsoft will start shipping out units to customers by May 1st and that’s also when it’s going to be available for purchase through Best Buy stores across the country.

Customers who are looking to use the Type Cover or Surface Pen with the Surface Pro with LTE will have to purchase both accessories separately for $129 and $99 respectively.
