A couple of weeks ago, Lenovo teased an upcoming smartphone in the form of the Lenovo Z5. From the sketches this appears to be a true fullscreen smartphone, where it appears that Lenovo might have found a way to do away with the notch that we’re seeing in many a smartphone these days.

However as to what the phone actually looks like, we have no idea, but a recent post on Weibo (via GSMArena) by Lenovo’s VP Chang Cheng, the back part of the phone has been revealed. As you can see in the photo to the right, it looks like Lenovo will be giving the back of the Z5 a nice and glossy finish.

It is unclear as to what kind of material the phone will have, but we’re hoping that it will feature the use of glass like the Huawei P20, which coincidentally enough also has a colorful back as well. Presumably with the use of a glass back, it could also mean that it will support wireless charging, a feature that we’re seeing more from smartphones these days.

Specs are unclear at the moment, but the good news is that we won’t have to wait much longer to find out because Lenovo will be officially announcing the handset on the 5th of June, so do check back with us then if you’d like the details.
